For our VI Peels, you will have an orange solution on your face for 4 hours and then you will wash it off. You will follow home instructions via the VI Peel app/brochure for 7 days. Some people have flaky skin, and other people will have their skin peel in sheets. This can last up to a week, with days 3-5 being the highest shedding time, so plan your life accordingly! You can wear makeup after 4 hours.

At-home products can promote micro-tears in the skin, causing inflammation and potentially skin infection.
I just use a blade I got on Amazon at home. Isn’t it the same thing?
No! This is a myth. Although sometimes hair can FEEL more coarse, this is because it was shaved off bluntly instead of allowed to naturally grow and be tapered at the end. You will not get thicker and darker hair from dermaplaning.

We recommend staying out of the sun for at least a week after the treatment. Avoid using skincare to the area (including deodorant for underarms) for 24 hours. You may notice some redness, swelling, and itching in the treatment area. It can sometimes feel like a mild sunburn after your treatment.

New hair follicles can form after treatment, but they will grow much more slowly and be thinner. Some people notice hair growth with hormonal changes (pregnancy, menopause, birth control utilization, HRT)
